Custom: Semi
Character Name: Ashmedai
Race: Asarei
Gender: Male
Path: Battler
Class: Warlock
Appearance: White hair, light golden eyes.
Personality: A person with very strong beliefs and ideals. He believes that knowledge and logic can be used to solve all problems, even ones that most people would consider emotional or ethical-based. For him, research and advancing their understanding of Magesc should be everyone's priority in life, and he's strongly judgmental of those who disparage learning or who cast it aside for the sake of war.
Biography/Background: Parents are well-respected members of the community. His mother is a famous cleric and researcher while his father is a highly respected paladin and military leader. He's been heavily influenced by both parents, developing a rigid and logic-driven mindset. They have also instilled in him an understanding of the importance of the war, which motivated him to pursue combat training, but he believes the answer to the war is in science and research (areas which the Asarei excel in), NOT in continuous battles.
Thoughts on the Great Engagement: A war that has gone on for too long, stalling progress on Magesc. While he sees the need to fight the war, he also feels that it is a waste of resources. He wishes to find a way to quickly end the war, even if the consequences are great, as he believes that the races on Magesc are capable of recovering from almost anything as long as they don't have conflict weighing them down.
Thoughts on the Magescian Races: The Raguati are unfortunate because they were literally made to be soulless weapons. Weapons on their own are not necessarily evil, but it depends on who wields that weapon. As the gods have withdrawn, this is an ideal opportunity for the Asarei to step in and become the custodian race that forces the Raguati onto a righteous path. Those who can be reformed will not have to be purified. Those who resist should be discarded like flawed weapons.
The Dovaa are the true problem. They insist that weapons of evil should be allowed to carry on as they are and will not commit to fighting for Magesc's sake. Hiding behind 'peace and harmony' is simply an excuse for them to avoid the suffering of war, allowing them to take advantage of relationships with both races.
Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora: Dragons were the original race of Magesc and have been treated unjustly by all three races as they grew. Efforts should be made to return them to their former glory. If the Asarei cannot purify Magesc and rule as the dominant race, then the only other group that is eligible for such a role are the dragons.
The khehora are an abomination, but again, that is the fault of their creator and not them. They should be guided toward or used for the purification of Magesc. At the very least, they should not be allowed to be used by the Raguati or any other masters who would abuse them and their power.
